Husband, Father and Coach

Husband, father and coach sum up in three words the majority of Greg’s life outside of REDROCK. There’s more to life than work after all, and being well-rounded helps him stay grounded in life and with work.

Greg and his wife Katrina just celebrated their 10th year of marriage in November of 2012. They met in 2000 in Southern California, and ended up in Las Vegas in 2002 after a brief stint in Salt Lake City, Utah. In Salt Lake they enjoyed boating, snowboarding and camping. Salt Lake City is an amazing city if you love the outdoors and an active lifestyle.

In 2003 Katrina and Greg were blessed with the birth of their only children, Austin and Hunter. Austin and Hunter are identical twin boys. It wasn’t planned and doesn’t run in either family, it was just an unexpected blessing for the two of them!

Greg absolutely loves sports including snowboarding, golf, target and skeet shooting, especially baseball! He started coaching kids when Austin and Hunter turned 4 through the Paseo Verde Little League. Coaching TBall was a challenging experience, yet through the years he has grown as a coach with each team he ran.

In the fall of 2010 Greg’s team won the Vegas Valley Fall Ball Championship. In the spring of 2012 his team went 14-2 and captured the AA Championship in Paseo Verde Little League. Today he coaches a Las Vegas club baseball team, the Nevada Wildcats, where they’ve captured multiple first and second place finishes at local tournaments.

Over the years he’s coached over 100 boys and girls, and he views coaching and baseball as life lessons as much as sports development. Most importantly coaching has allowed him to spend a great deal of time with his boys, Austin and Hunter.
